About Milly

I am a self-proclaimed number nerd and the color purple enthusiast. I hold a mechanical engineering degree from Brigham Young University where I fell in love with spreadsheets, optimization, and formulas (and my husband, we’ll include him too). After graduation, I worked for 18 months as a structures engineer. With the birth of my second child, it was time to be home with my children.

At home, I became the primary home finance manager, chef, maid, and care giver to three toddlers. Away from the world of engineering design, I quickly fell in love with money. Not in the way that is the root of all evil, but as an exciting optimization puzzle.

Other things I enjoy improving include cooking, parenting, organization, gardening, and happiness.
